hartford sessions - march-june 2001
the trashcan sinatras recorded their fourth album with producer mike deming at studio .45 in hartford, connecticut. the band spent just over two months in the studio, from march 26, 2000 until leaving on june 1, 2000.
the band decided not to release these recordings (though a couple of songs were subsequently released as b-sides) and re-recorded many of these songs in 2002 for what would eventually become “weightlifting.”
